June 20 Trip to Chateau Meichtry Family Vineyard & Winery – Ellijay, Ga

 We will meet up at two locations.

1. Gainesville Academy Sports on Dawsonville Highway – Meet at 10:15 and wheels up at 10:45 to drive to the Racing Hall of Fame in Dawsonville.
2. Dawsonville Racing Hall of Fame – Meet at 11:00and Wheels up to head to Winery at 11:20 (When the Gainesville group Arrives)

Arrive at Winery around 12:30pm. There will be a designated parking are for LCU set aside.Wine tasting is available for a fee.

Tours of the winery are available for advanced reservations on the Website (If we have significant number who want the Winery Tour we will negotiate a group rate for a private tour – when RSVPing on our website please add “YES” – for example

There will be Food trucks available and music.  Food trucks will be serving Seafood, Cajun and Quesadillas with prices ranging for $15 to $20.  For June 20^th it is –  Mark Miller & The Voodoo Daddy Food Truck.  Bring Chairs to enjoy the music.

About this location:  We are a family-owned and operated winery and vineyard, located in North Georgia wine country in Ellijay, Ga. The vineyard lies in the beautiful foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. The rolling hills provide a perfect location for growing quality wine grapes. We invite you to come out for a tasting or a glass while enjoying the beautiful scenery, and on weekends, enjoy live music entertainment from a great array of Georgia musicians every Saturday & Sunday from 1:30-5:30.

​We have indoor & outdoor seating available.  We have live music every Saturday & Sunday from 1:30 – 5:30 p.m., as well as food trucks on the weekend.  We offer tours every Saturday at 12:30 p.m.  Tours are $45 per person & tickets can be purchased on the ‘Events’ section of our website.
