Several years ago, Fernando & Marilyn had the opportunity to visit Brothers at Willow Ranch. They have put this drive lunch and more event together.
Several years ago, Fernando & Marilyn had the opportunity to visit Brothers at Willow Ranch. They have put this drive lunch and more event together. Fernando, Fred & Linda did a drive recently to pick best route to go and eliminate many turns to keep our caravan together.
Meet up at the Publix at 1236 Thompson Bridge Road – Park near the USP Store at the right side of shopping center – restrooms in Publix before we head out as needed..
Meet up Time – 9:30 – Driver’s meeting – 9:45 AM. Wheels Up – 10:00 AM (Firm)
Arrive at Store on Blood Mountain (Restroom Break) at about 11:10AM (Estimate). Leave Blood Mountain for Brothers at 11:30AM. Arrive at Brothers at Willow Ranch at 12:15 (Estimate). Leave for Hiawassee for Festive (Optional) about 2PM
The menu offered a wide variety of choices, and based on our previous experience, the food quality was exceptional. The drive to Young Harris will be a scenic mountain route covering roughly 60 miles and is estimated to take 1 hour and 30 minutes.

After lunch, participants interested in continuing the outing are welcome to join us at the Hamilton Rhododendron Gardens, located about 6 miles away at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds for the 2026 Rhododendron Festival.
