Corvette Plant and Museum Tour – 2 night trip

LCU trip to Bowling Green KY to visit the Corvette Museum AND the Build Plant. Our caravan info to be communicated in time well before August 11.

The build plant has been closed to the public for nearly one year. They are opening tours for 3 different weeks, two in August and one in November. The plant does not do tours on weekends. Week of August 11 is open for tours. Drive up Monday August 11. Do the plant and museum tours August 12. This would be a 2 night stay as it’s a 6 hour drive not counting stops and lunch. Return August 13. You have to buy plant tour tickets online only for $50 per person (includes Museum entry). Tickets are NON Refundable. Tickets are valid for one year if you cannot make the trip. Museum members get a discount.

As of July 5 we have 20 people going – 10 cars and all have purchased the plant tour tickets. However the morning plant tours are all fully booked. So choose 8:15 AM. We have our 18 people in tours at 9:15, 8:45, and 10:15. Lunchtime reserved in museum at noon. Guided museum tour at 1:30 PM. $10 per person. Harry Taylor will purchase for all so  give him cash.

Select the first option X in upper right corner of that box at top of the page for ‘Plant Tour and Museum admission’.

Edit admission people to 2 on both items if you and your significant other are attending, otherwise just select 1 attending on both entries.
Click Continue
Click on 8:15 AM for the tour time.
Click Continue
If they have exceeded the 15 max people per plant tour and you get an error or message is tour is full – try the next time slot 30 minutes later etc.
Click Checkout and fill out your credit card payment info and email address etc.
You will get an email with your confirmation # etc.
PRINT IT OUT to bring with you to Bowling Green KY to get admitted to the plant tour and the museum.
I’m told you need to bring the paper print out with you!

I did some research on hotels. This is a nice hotel with large indoor pool. Breakfast Included.
It’s a better rate at $15 per night less if you are a Windham Member so I recommend to join their points club to save you $30 on the 2 nights.
Also Vicky and I booked as a member the 2 nights with taxes and our AARP discount for $145 total. Otherwise it’s $160 total for members.

I’m working on restaurants for lunch on August 11, dinners on 11th and 12, lunch on 13 for those of us to caravan back together to Atlanta area.
