Corvette Plant and Museum Tour – 2 night trip

August 11 @ 9:30 am - August 13 @ 5:00 pm

LCU trip to Bowling Green KY to visit the Corvette Museum AND the Build Plant. Trip is fully booked to do the Plant Tour on August 12.

Meet point is Hardee’s on I-75 N exit 277 – 1097 Hwy 92 Acworth GA. Meetup 9:30 and wheels up at 10:00 AM.

The build plant has been closed to the public for nearly one year. Drive up Monday August 11. Do the plant and museum tours August 12. This would be a 2 night stay as it’s a 6 hour drive not counting stops and lunch. Return August 13. You have to buy plant tour tickets online only for $50 per person (includes Museum entry). Tickets are NON Refundable. Tickets are valid for one year if you cannot make the trip. Museum members get a discount.

As of July 13 we have 20 people going – 9 cars and all have purchased the plant tour tickets. The plant tours are all fully booked. We have 11 in tour at 9:45, 2 in 8:45, 2 in 8:15, 3 in 9:15, and 2 in 10:15.

Lunchtime reserved in museum at noon. Reserved tables. Guided museum tour at 1:30 PM. $10 per person. Harry Taylor will purchase for all so give him cash.

PRINT IT OUT to bring with you to Bowling Green KY to get admitted to the plant tour and the museum. I’m told you need to bring the paper print out with you!

I did some research on hotels. This is a nice hotel with large indoor pool. Breakfast Included.
It’s a better rate at $15 per night less if you are a Windham Member so I recommend to join their points club to save you $30 on the 2 nights.

I have made reservations for restaurants for lunch on August 11, dinners on 11th and 12, lunch on 13 for those of us to caravan back together to Atlanta area.
So please RSVP if you will attend so I get a seat count for the restaurants. Itinerary to be communicated.
