He gave us a lot of info at our May 1 meeting.\nHighlands NC annual car show and other events planned over 4 days. Main car show is Saturday June 14. Gates open 9:30 AM. Many Highlands Motoring Festival events are free to the public. The four driving tours and the Charity Gala require registration and payment. As of June 10 all events are booked.\n\nKelsey-Hutchinson Founders Park\, just steps from Main Street. \nThe Featured Theme for 2025 is “The Cars of Enzo Ferrari”. \nThere will be 20 Ferrari cars. All 85 cars in the show are pre-1989\n\nOrganizers expect 85 total entrants\, including approximately twenty examples of some of Enzo Ferrari’s finest work. More than 2\,500 visitors are expected on show day.

Run will go 60 miles from Cartersville GA ending in Cartersville at the Savoy Museum.\n*****\n\n\nThe proceeds from the event will go to the Georgia Sheriffs’ Youth Homes\, and the event will be filmed for airing on the Sam’s Garage television program to be aired on national television.\n\nReduced price entry ends April 30 at $75 per car. Add $40 for additional companion meals. Then $100 to June 1. Registration ends either at 150 cars or June 1.The entire route is sanctioned by Sheriff’s escort. If wanted we can plan a dinner afterwards.\n\nIf you can help\, please respond to Fred Fletcher  by September 4th.  If we cannot get enough places\, we will have to cancel.  There are 19 in the Homecoming court.\n\nPrefer convertibles but any corvette (or other make convertible (Bernie and Betsy??)) will help us out.

If yes then also via the finance committee suggestions decide what our new 2026 dues amounts should be. \nNeed to determine if anyone is desiring to leave their club position and if so the Board needs to recommend replacements\, or someone might want to step into a different position. Need to have finalized for club November voting. \nAlso come January 2026 we can no longer meet at the Carroll Daniel’s building. Dave Cirincione has identified another location at North Hall Gainesville for $40 total for 2 hours each month. There is a potential at an Oakwood church for possibly free. Need more info on the Church room opportunity. Bottom line we want some direction from this Sep 22 meeting to know what to proceed on so we can commit to a new location by December. \n

The Chateau Elan Military Support Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit supporting military veterans and their families in North Georgia. CEMSF is a volunteer-run organization serving the local military community by providing financial support\, basic needs\, housing assistance and mental health support.\nWe host a car show\, to raise funds for our mission.
