DESCRIPTION:Yes\, we know it’s 5 month’s away but block of hotel rooms at our discount will at some point expire. Joining the museum tour for Friday 2;00 PM will fill up and you won’t be able to join LCU as a group to enter at that time slot if not booked ASAP.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe have a great rate of $144 for a one-night room. We would caravan together to go there from Georgia on Friday October 18 morning. Details about that to follow later on.\n\nWe have an invite from a former member of LCU – Bert Nagy – who lives very close to Charlotte NC and is now a member of the Queen City club to come to his home for dinner Friday night October 18. We did that last year and was most enjoyable! Lunch stop on Friday\, and dinner Saturday night will be arranged so if desired you can attend with the group.\n\nBelow is the link for a block of rooms for LCU. We are not sure of the deadline for this price so we suggest you lock in your room now if planning on going. This is the Hampton Inn we stayed at last year. Great place and a great host. Free breakfast. Experience a variety of exciting cars on display\, live music\, food & drink\, Kid Zone\, military vehicles\, and more. Featuring an exciting air show by Full Throttle Formation Team. General admission tickets are $10 for guests ages 12 and over. Car registration starts at $20. Sponsorships are available. The proceeds from this event support North Georgia veterans in need and their families. \nABOUT US \nThe Chateau Elan Military Support Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is supported by over 80+ members and volunteers within the Chateau Elan Community. In 2018\, a group of neighbors saw a need and created the Chateau Elan Military Support Foundation (CEMSF) to organize and fund aid supporting military veterans and their families in North Georgia. Since 2019\, CEMSF has raised over $300\,000 and has served the local military community by providing financial support\, basic needs\, housing assistance and mental health support. CEMSF is a volunteer-run organization with no paid full-time staff\, maximizing the amount spent to support veterans. \nOUR MISSION \nChateau Elan Military Support Foundation (CEMSF) serves local veterans and their families in the North Georgia area by functioning as a hub for community resources and providing support for basic needs\, housing assistance and mental health support.
