DESCRIPTION:On August 6\, 2026 My grandson\, myself (Fred)\, and Emile and Sandy Foisy will be going to the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green\, KY. Fred will communicate details regarding where and what time to meet on Thursday Aug. 6th to caravan to the Museum and hotel. Emile & Sandi plan to drive alone and meet at hotel and to go to the group dinner. \nHotel is Hotel Sync. It is .3 miles from museum and behind the plant. \nWe will be staying at the Hotel SYNC (270-745-0123) which is just across Interstate Drive from the Museum and on the way to the plant. If the Hotel SYNC is booked there are three other hotels in the same area\, they are Super 8 by Wyndham\, Main Stay Suites and Sure Stay. \nOn Friday we will go to the Museum and we have secured tickets for the Plant Tour for the 1:15 Time Slot. If this time slot is already filled there should be other slots available on Friday afternoon. \nhttps://www.corvettemuseum.org/plant-tours/ \nPlant tour $50 includes Museum access. Non-refundable but ticket is good for one year. This event is open all club members and but ask that you RSVP on the Club Website no later than July 18.  \nIf there is interest\, I will try and get a block of rooms for a group near the museum.  In addition\, we can set up dinner plans for Thursday evening. \nMeet up information will be available soon to all RSVPs. If you want to join highly suggest you reserve your plant tour now on the museum site. DESCRIPTION:Date Change – was July 18 moved to August 15 \nCorvette Cruisers of Atlanta (CCA) is inviting LCU to this event. Cruise to Central Ga to visit the “Big House” home to the Allman Brothers Band in the early 70’s.  If only these walls could talk\, what a story they would tell.  This is where the original Allman Brothers Band would Jam and rehearse. \nhttps://thebighousemuseum.com/ \nPhotos of Museum \nIf you still have any interest in the music from the 70’-80’s you need to go on this trip. The museum opens at 11:00 AM. The Allman Brothers Band lived in this building and rehearsed songs from 1970 to 1973. \nMacon was the hub of soul music\, thru Capricorn records.  Otis Redding\, Sam & Dave\, Al Green\, Percy Sledge\, and the Allman Brothers Band.  The link above is the Big House\, that’s where we are going. $15 entry fee. \n2321 Vineville Ave\, Macon\, GA 31204 \nThen over to Gray\, Ga to Old Clintons BBQ\, then to Eatonton thru Milledgeville to the DQueen.  You’ll be home by 4 to 5pm. \nFor LCU members if interested we could arrange a start point for a caravan off I-85 after I-985 merges.
